No matter your place or station in life there is a need for YOU at the Brother Bryan Mission. The ministry of BBM that is so vital to the needs and growth of the men is dependent upon someone such as yourself giving generously of your time and abilities to help those in need. So please pray over these opportunities and contact us if you feel led to these areas of service.

- Advocate Program: Christ’s model of discipleship was intended for intentional relationships. The Brother Bryan Mission is committed to fulfilling the great commission by making disciples through long term relational investment. Towards this end we are asking you, the church, to partner in one on one relationships with men at the mission as a mentor. This is a one year commitment that includes training with BBM staff and volunteer coordinators.
- Read to Achieve: This is an opportunity to connect with BBM’s learning center to meet weekly with a resident of the mission to help them achieve the goal of literacy. Partner with us as we provide men with basic skills and the freedom to expand their world through the written word. In fact, you may be the person that God uses to allow a resident the first opportunity to read the Word of God.
- Dove Program: The DOVE Program, an acronym for Discipleship Offers Victory Everlasting, is a 45 day entry program into the mission for a select number of residents. This program is rehabilitative in nature as it deals with issues such as chemical dependency, criminal background, financial planning, job readiness, and relationships. Take this opportunity to join BBM as we teach, encourage, and walk with residents in the classroom setting and as they give back the community by serving in local service projects.
- Berean Fellowship: In Acts 17 it is said that the Bereans received the gospel message with eagerness and searched the scriptures to verify truth. At BBM we too want to dig deep into God’s word to see its truth in our lives and how that might shape our futures. Jesus prayed in John 17:17 that we might be sanctified in the truth because God’s word is truth. If this is so then we want to take every opportunity to be sanctified through the study and contemplation of the scriptures. Join us in one of our daily Bible studies as we lift up the Lord Jesus so that all men might be drawn to Him.
- Transportation Ministry: BBM is committed to helping residents achieve personal responsibility through reentry into the working world. To accomplish this we have committed to transporting the men from the mission to their places of employment, doctors appointments, court appearances, and interviews. Join us in supporting the residents of the mission meet their vocational goals by adopting a shift during the week driving one of the allocated mission vans.
- Seminar Teachers: Topics for BBM seminar meetings include but are not limited to: budgeting and financial responsibility, exercise and nutrition, men’s health issues, parenting, divorce care, addiction recovery, and conflict management. Join us in your area of expertise for one of our many seminars on various life skills.
- Musicians: Music lifts the soul and inspires the heart. BBM coordinates nightly chapel services and weekend concerts. Use your God-given abilities to serve the men at the mission by leading in musical worship.
- Computer Lab Assistant: Many of the residents of the mission are computer illiterate. Help teach the men basic computing skills using programs such as Microsoft Word and assist in job searches.
- Corporate and Business Partners: We are a “working mission” in the sense that we not only encourage but require our residents to work towards vocational stability. Therefore, we are calling on area business leaders to partner with us to provide employment opportunities to capable individuals at the Mission.
- Food Pantry Assistant: A vital aspect of any ministry to the “least of these” is making sure that primary needs are met. Come join us as we collect, sort, and distribute the food that powers the men at the mission.
- Clothes Closet Assistant: Christ told us that when we clothed the naked that we did it unto Him. You can be a part of helping make sure that the residents at the Mission are well clothed by sorting, stocking, and distributing donated items among the men.
- Office/Clerical Ministry: To help make the day to day ministry at the mission possible there is much work to be done behind the scenes. If you have a passion to serve others through helping with answering phones, clerical work, or data entry this this ministry may be for you.
- Prayer Partner: We are calling the Body of Christ to bathe the Mission and its residents in constant prayer. We claim the promise that what we ask In Jesus’ name for the building of the Kingdom that God will honor. So we ask YOU to partner with us in praying over every resident to the glory of God.
